Uber Launches UberRUSH Delivery Service
Uber has launched a new delivery service which aims to "meet you on-demand delivery fleet". In a plethora of cities across the world, Uber is readily available. By pressing a button on your smartphone through the Uber app your ride arrives within a matter of minutes. Now, Uber has launched the same convenience for businesses who are looking to broaden their horizons and expand their business without the worries of infrastructure or capital in order to do so. UberRUSH has patterned with local businesses to allow them to deliver their products using Uber's technology in about 20 minutes.
Why does Uber want to improve delivery for businesses? This is what they had to say:
"Think about all the times you hop in the car to pick up groceries, house supplies, or Sunday night takeout. These little runs seem harmless but they add up. In fact, 20% of all trips in the U.S. are just to move things from A to B — and we’re wasting thousands of hours and gallons taking them.
If every local business delivered, we’d all save time and energy. But most simply can’t. Day-to-day operations are already complicated and delivery can cause all sorts of logistical headaches. There has never been a simple local delivery solution. Until now."
“Every business in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco has the power to get customers what they want, when they want it.” thanks to UberRUSH. For more on UberRUSH's growing success, head on over to rush.uber.com.
And That's IT!
