The Core Values of the Exhibition
Empowerment - Through engagement in social design, people who are vulnerable psychologically can feel like normal and capable human beings once again. During this growing process, they also develop a sense of pride which leads to a better quality of life both at the individual and community level.
Enabling - Social design enables the physically challenged to be treated as ordinary citizens. We can help solve problems by implementing quick changes and intervention to improve people's attitude, perception, and behavior.
Social Solidarity - An individual may feel that he/she does not belong in society, but through social design, meaningful connections between people are established. People feel a sense of belonging, camaraderie, and fellowship that not only empowers a cohesive society, but also bestows a sense of pride for everyone involved.
