Praktik Bakery Hotel is one of several in the Praktik portfolio of hotels. The emphasis is of course, on luxury accommodations, as well as freshly baked bread made onsite. The hotel is located in the Eixample district of Barcelona and takes design cues from the traditional, modernist architecture of the neighborhood. “Praktik Bakery is that different hotel, out of the ordinary, so we have introduced something as homely as bread within the hotel so that our guests feel at home,” said Anna Bellsolá, of Baluard, the local bakery that will live inside the hotel.
The interior, designed by Lazaro Rosa-Violán, is industrial and minimalist yet still reminiscent of Spanish design. The hotel features 74 rooms “Praktik Bakery is completely unique. It integrates a bakery within the hotel, both of high quality and recently opened, making us ahead of our time in providing a new service to our guests,” says Alejandro Prieto director of Hotel Praktik Rambla.
