Facebook "Dislike" Button Coming Soon
After much anticipation, Mark Zuckerberg, one of the five co-founders of Facebook, has announced that the social website is finally working on a dislike button . He expressed that he feels people have been waiting for this for years now and he is now happy to declare that it is currently a work in motion as they try to develop this new concept of the "dislike" button.
Zuckerberg confessed during a Q&A at Facebook headquarters that the social network never created this option of a "dislike" button straight away because they didn't want to replicate Reddit's up voting and down voting system.
Zuckerberg realizes Facebook users' have desires to express themselves other than the given "like" button, especially in relation to serious issues such as the Syria refugee crisis and even nearest and dearest members of family who have died. The main aim of this new concept is to express empathy as not everyone is going to like every post they see on Facebook. Facebook hopes to launch the "dislike" button soon.
And That's It!
