From now until September 5, 2016, the Fondation Louis Vuitton will present an exhibition dedicated to the Chinese art scene. The exhibition is a collaboration with the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing and features various works by 12 of the country’s renowned artists including the likes of Hao Liang, Qiu Zhijie, Liu Wei and Xu Qu to name a few. Exploiting a wide selection of techniques and media drawn from both local tradition and culture, as well as newer cutting edge technologies – associating with or confronting these – the artists reveal the complexities of a society that is in permanent mutation.
The exhibition addresses the current state of economy & ecology and the relationship between the city and the countryside.
