 SS17 "Party with Maison Kitsuné"

SS17 "Party with Maison Kitsuné"

Paris, France - For Maison Kitsuné SS17 pre-collection, embracing colors and retro aesthetic, Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki's inspiration takes roots from the burlesque world of film maker, actor and screenwriter Jacques Tati. The assortment of vintage silhouettes greatly inspired by the '50s chic is a mix between fantasy, lightness and french feminity,

When it comes to the collection "Party with Maison Kitsuné" is influenced by the american director Blake Edwards' iconic movie 'The Party' (1968), a playful pop wardrobe imbued with humor and romanticism from the 70's is presented.

As a thrilling contrast, navy blue, black, ecru, grey and other natural shades are enhanced by refreshing, yet dynamic colors, yellow, orange, turquoise as well as shiny and pastel tones.

As to the materials, flowing fabrics are combined to poplin textures, quilted cotton and structured gabardines. In addition, a multitude of original yet noteworthy details such as translucent PVC accessories, bewitching candid patterns and embroideries, all in all, bring an infinite joy to the collection. The designs, reflection of a modernized bohemian spirit, contribute to the beautiful shaping of a carefree sophisticated Kitsuné Woman.

And... That's it !
