‘CYAN II’ photo series by Øystein Aspelund
Sequel to CYAN, Norwegian photographer Øystein Aspelund has once again tuned his lens towards architecture with his new series 'CYAN II'. "Presented as fragments in isolation from their original context, united through a colourful cyan sky".
With contrasting colour palates of pink to blue, we can also find variations of green ranging to orange. While these wide contrasts exist, they are kept quite subtle and provide a pleasant and calming feeling to them. They are something to ease the mind when staring into these images, somewhat therapeutic. You can compare these subtleties to his previous 2016 Pantone Colour of the Year, which shows a much wider spectrum.
And,... that's it!
