Kenya Hara designed Packaging for Pierre Hermé
These three package designs were created by Japanese Design Guru Kenya Hara, characterized by joint-free, smooth curves and a delicate white texture, are for the legendary Pierre Hermé pastry, Ispahan. The packages are shaped like whipped cream. One looks as if the dough was lightly imprinted in while the others are rounds of fluffy, resilient pure whiteness, delicately encasing the delicious pastries. The greatest appeal of these packages is the billowing sensuousness imparted by the material: pulp. Thanks to the study of hand molding, Hara was able to create a soft, round form that fluidly connects the curves. The packaged pastries were sold exclusively at Påtisseries Pierre Hermé Paris Bonaparte, Vaugirard, and at a few of the Pierre Hermé Paris boutiques in Tokyo.
These packages look good enough to eat!
And... That's it!
