Vernacular penthouse in valencia by el fabricante de espheras
Settled in an old building's attic in the North of the Spanish region l'Horta, "l'Atic Vernacle" is a successful stunning architectural project conducted by the Valencia based design studio El Fabricante de Espheras. The plans and restoration process resulted in a dazzling contrast between the features of an antique Valencian house and a contemporary interior arrangement of furnitures and household items.
Conceived in order to preserve the powerful spirit of Valencia and to make the place as ergonomic as possible for the occupant , various spaces from the kitchen to the living room are overflowing with surprises.
In 2015, the studio El Fabricante de Espheras received an award of interior design by The Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association.
The jury praised,
"Simplicity and austerity in the choice of materials for a pleasant environment of life."
You can feel the whole ambiance. A great mix of wood and ceramic home appliances, warm clay tiles on the floor, comforting color fabrics, thick carpets and very soft lighting, all together bring serenity and comfort to the loft. This penthouse is both pleasant and functional. Spaces in the kitchen and the bathroom offer numerous storage units and spacious luminous living areas.
Best of all, this restored apartment is composed of wide, impressive windows offering an astonishing view over the city's roofs.
And... That's it !
