Barcelona’s Hottest New Concept Store
It is often that we tend to separate the different areas of our life and we consider it slightly uncomfortable to shake things up a bit and break some rules . It is seen as “strange” and somehow wrong to stop by for a bite in a, lets say, clothing store and choose as a shopping destination “that nice café on the corner”. The unconventional, however, often reveals the best and this exactly is the case of Wer-Haus, the newly opened, stereotypes-challenging concept store located in the L’Eixample district in the heart of Barcelona. The outcome of 3 creative minds from 2 different countries – two French and one Catalan – the concept is a flawless mix of fine dining, art and fashion and a proof that it can all be interconnected and mixed without appearing neither strange or pushy.
The clothing store is caring brands such as Etudes Studio, Raf Simons and Gosha Rubchinskiy. The art gallery’s debut was presented by Antonio Xoubanova whose work has been in publications such as The New York Times and Dazed. The kitchen is under the creative control of the Brazilian/Portuguese chef Célio Strapazzolli shooting new edible creations that completely go along with the innovative spirit of the place. And finally the artisan coffee coming straight from an indie café chain in London and presented by barista José María Martín.
Wer-Haus is the edgy, at the same time mild and simple place challenging the traditions and visions and definitely winning it.
And... That's it!
