Famous for their high-quality sneakers, Sweden’s Eytys opens a brand new flagship store in the heart of Stockholm. Following the minimalistic designs of their shoes, the store follows a cool and polished look. Inspired by Japanese post-modernist Shiro Kuramata and Spanish-Catalan sculptor Xavier Corbero, creative director Max Schiller and architect Axel Wannber bring together elements of burl, aluminum, cedar wood, and acrylic glass to execute the sleek and monochromatic space. The grey marble floors lead you to acrylic glass shelves that display their current line of sneakers and a bench made with soft burl is placed for customers to try on their shoes. Shelves in the back of the shop exhibit a specially-curated selection of ready-to-wear and reading material. Shiro Kuramata and Xavier Corbero would definitely nod their head in approval of Eyty’s new flagship store.
And… That’s it!
