Calvin Klein Creative Directors Have Stepped Down
The fashion industry keeps shaking up. A couple of weeks after Heidi Slimane took his way out of Saint Laurent, replaced by Anthony Vaccarello, the New York fashion label CK just announced the departure of its two creative directors Italo Zucchelli, in charge of the men's wear and Francisco Costa, head of the women's section. Besides, the label is also planning to regroup all its brands under one single creative department.
Following the revelation, Calvin Klein’s CEO Steve Shiffman stated,
“I would like to thank Francisco and Italo for their unwavering commitment to the Calvin Klein brand and their accomplishments over the past decade. They have both contributed immensely to making Calvin Klein a global leader in the fashion industry, and they have done so with dedication, focus, and creativity.”
According to WWD, Raf Simons, who stepped down a few months ago from the prestigious house of Dior, would be the potential successor for Calvin Klein's creative supervision. Yet the brand didn't get ahead of itself, and stated that "an official announcement will be made very shortly."
And... That's it !
