We think that Sundays should be a day of relaxation and serenity. You might need a good rest after a hectic weekend or to prepare yourself for work tomorrow morning. Take advantage of the weather and time of the year by going on a peaceful walk. We think Shanghai is always filled with surprises and treasures. You can head to the Confucius temple (215 Wenmiao Lu, 15RMB). Sunday is the perfect day to go as they have an excellent secondhand book market. This area is filled with authentic lanes just down Ninghe Lu which is home to the Ninghe market, a great place to pick up authentic traditional snacks.
Alternatively you can check out YUZ museum’s new artwork OVERPOP. It presents international artists defining new contemporary works involving pop tradition and the impact of the Internet on the visual environment. It will be running from September 4th- January 15th.
