One-of-a-kind piece of 100 pieces
Stick out your artistic tongue and get ready to widen your palette. UK artist Bharat Bhura Kadchha has created a new collection of one of kind prints named circulum’C as apart of his on-going 100 Pieces series.
In its simplest form, Kadchha aimed to create a project to reflect on the idea of the “one vs. the sum”; the idea that one person or one part of something can be very important but when combined, the sum of all those things can be much greater.
Over the years, Kadchha has created many different kinds of art ranging from ceramics to oil paintings but has secretly had an “underlying obsession” (as he puts it) with colors and basic geometry.
Each print uses a centered-circle along with different shades of one color to create a single image that covers a small portion of our wide color spectrum. Sounds simple right? Well, it is actually, but it isn’t until one steps back and realizes that the single image is just one part of a much larger picture that encompasses the entire color spectrum seamlessly – “the sum is greater that its parts.”
Kadchha has created a Kickstarter campaign where you can view and support his art. With your purchase, your image will be printed on a 20-inch x 20-inch (or 508mm x 508mm) “Canson Aquarelle Rag”, which is museum-grade, 100% cotton paper that is globally accepted in art galleries and museums. Additionally, supporters will receive a Certificate of Authenticity that is hand written with “1 of 1” to show that your image is the only one that will ever be produced.
