Most (successful) crowdfunding projects aim to make our life a little easier, more comfortable or maybe even help us to get flawless skin without the help of Instagram. That is exactly where the “Evie Blender” comes in. The “Evie Blender” is a makeup blender made of a “medical grade, hypoallergenic silicone” - which means that it is a silicone that most likely won`t cause any allergies and is appropriate to be used for medical applications. It was developed by Angie Johnson, who as a makeup artist knows what a good makeup blender has to offer and who found it frustrating that sponge blenders, although very popular, soak up too much makeup and are very difficult to clean. “Evie Blender” uses only half of the amount of a sponge blender and still guarantees for a perfect outcome. Put in soapy water or use a makeup wipe and it will look like new.

The “Evie Blender” is a little more firm than a sponge blender but squishy enough to allow an easy grip and its smaller, pointed part comes in handy when applying makeup to the parts around the eyes and nose. While it`s surface might look as flawless as a stone, it in fact contains little holes and pores that pick up the makeup and help blend it in.

Although there have been already some silicone makeup blenders on the market, the “Evie Blender” was able to convince the audience and reached its goal on kickstarter.com within one week, rising almost 300% more than the original goal. It is currently available on indiegogo.com in three eye-catching colors and 5% of net sales will be donated to the Women`s March on Washington & Women’s March Global.

And... That`s it!
