Neith Nyer's Dreamlike Collection
Paris - Neith Nyer's fourth collection by Francisco Terra, this year, was presented at Guerrisol, a vintage thrift shop in Paris' 18th district, sensational moment at the ideal location.
As is the brand's habit, a mad collection and all its dreamlike, yet cutting-edge design not only brought decadence to the runway, but something different, a fresh boost to Paris Fashion Scene.
Based on the book, Migurushi Mirai 83 (Disgraceful Future in Japanese), written and drawn by the brand's creative director Terra himself, the show revealed characters evolving, cohabiting in a fantasy-like story. In this futuristic world, people need to go through thrift stores and ancestors' wardrobes to assemble their new outfits.
Different inspirations were blended together, in what appeared to represent, following the novel, a psychedelic vision of a dilapidated Tokyo and all the phantasmagory of Japanese manga.
In this mind-blowing collection, the bizarre nightlife sphere and grunge culture were also wildly explored. Francisco Terra also honored the thin bridge, limit between vulgarity and high-fashion, through exquisite materials and refined styling.
And... That's it !
