Google Translate’s App Now Instantly Translates Printed Text In 27 Languages
Google recently expanded its toolbox of internet gadgets, adding a new functionality to their Translate app: real-time text translation of 20 new languages via the camera.
The recent video launched by Google showcases the app’s versatility. You can now translate to and from English and Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Filipino, Finnish, Hungarian, Indonesian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian, Chinese (simplified) Chinese (Traditional) among others. You can also do one-way translations from English to Hindi and Thai. Or, try snapping a pic of the text you’d like translated—with a total of 37 languages in camera mode.
The app is available for Android and iOS for free.
