"Love Guide" condoms by Guan-Hao Pan
Finding the perfect condom can be tricky in our times. With ego boosting words like "magnum" and "pleasuremax" printed on the package, men can find it difficult to figure out which label is the perfect fit for their John.
Guan-Hao Pan, a student at the National Taipei University of Technology, has designed a new line of condom packaging. Each package comes in a cylinder shaped container where the diameter of the package correlates with the condom packaged inside. Men will be able to tell if the condom fits their penis by wrapping their hand around the container to tell if it feels like the right size.
Each package itself also represents a different produce like bananas and cucumbers with the condoms inside as slices of their assigned food. The idea of this came from the Chinese proverb 食色性也 shí sè xìng ye, meaning appetite and lust are only natural. This translates as, by nature we desire food and sex.
The idea and design of this condom package is clever but there is one issue. This packaging idea covers the girth but fails to identify the length. This can become an issue for those with unique lengths.
But overall in design, I find this a fun and delicious approach to guiding us into finding the perfect sized latex.
And... That's it!
