The world's first drip-free wine bottle
A glass of good wine is the perfect way to end a stressful week of work or school. Poor a glass, sit down, relax and ... oh, what is that fluid running down the bottle neck and eventually littering the tablecloth with deep red stains? I bet most people who drink wine on a frequent base have encountered this problem.
Well, it is time to bid those wine drops and stains on the tablecloth goodbye. Daniel Perlman, a wine enthusiast and scientist, invented a new type of bottle that promises for drip-free, stress-free wine drinking.
The scientist he is, he figured that by adding a circular groove to the neck of the bottle he could solve the problem. A wine drop that enters the 2mm groove won't be able to make it further down the bottle neck but will - instead - fall from the groove right into the wine glass. No additional gadget needed.
Unfortunately such bottles are not available for purchase yet but Perlman is currently talking to wine bottle manufacturers. Hopefully they like the idea as much as we do.
And... That's it!
