JZ Club Shanghai Launches explosive new cocktail menu
Since JZ Club opened in 2004, it has enjoyed a phenomenal response from the public, captured the attention of old Jazz-setters and converted new followers. Founded by Ren Yuqing, a renowned bassist, Jz Club is known for having one of the best selections of Jazz bands in Shanghai. Selecting only the best, they offer an extensive range of female vocals and modern Jazz Rock. Following the launch of their new location at Saturday’s hotspot, Datong Mill Shanghai, is the introduction of their newest cocktail list created by one of China’s best bartenders, Nick Wu. Led and consulted by Nick, the JZ bartenders have delved into the rabbit hole of his imagination and used his considerable skill to create a collection of cocktails designed to offer guests the opportunity to trip across each Jazz jam, with a drink for every pause.
On the recommended menu you can find JZ Old Fashioned, Jazz Lady and Red Bubble, all designed to compliment the rhythms of 3 special Jazz sessions.
To step into JZ Club is to be transported to a different world. The moody lighting, the red cushioned booths and round tables in front of the stage remind us of a 1920’s ballroom. Dress up in a flapper dress with feathers and pearls and you are good to go.
Cocktails are priced between 90 RMB and 110 RMB and for Saturdays, we recommend you to book a table, as it gets pretty busy during the weekends. Besides Shanghai, JZ Club has branches in Hangzhou, Wuhan and Guangzhou. Already awarded Best Jazz Club, Best Live Music and No.1 Best Place to Get Jazzed etc. Its name has become the equivalent of the jazz scene in China. To relax here, from the busy city life, seated beneath the ground, is a true experience.
Lean back, enjoy the music and enjoy the amazing speed and precise technique without compromising on great flavours from their new cocktail selections.
